Can't remember if I've tossed this up before, but anyway, was just snapping random photos last weekend and shot this thing. Here's the story. While driving past the humongous dumpster at our apartment complex, noticed this super tacky coffee table. Life sized black, jaguar. I kid you not. Made out of plaster. Heavy as hell. Anyway I loaded it in the trunk and stuck it in the garage. later on I sawed the head off, attached it to a wood mount and painted it. First I painted the whole thing white and then just started free styling that lacework black pattern on it. Big mistake, because that shit took forever to finish. Sealed with epoxy and hung it back in the storage room/garage. Have no idea what I will ever do with it. But no matter. Like most everything else, more about the doing than the end product.

That's really cool! Nice work! I wish you had a picture of that coffee table.
Erin the coffee table was a huge, life sized, black panther. It had rubber things on his shoulder blades and ass where the glass would sit. There were also a couple of other plaster panthers with it. I hauled one of those up the 'mountain' near me and wired it onto a stump. It sat there for several months before someone finally stole it. All very tacky, but pretty cool. yeah I should have taken a snap before I deconstructed.
i hope nobody shot, killed, and ate that panther in the woods.
that coffee table sounds great but your "mount" is classy!
