Was a busy weekend. Hauled ass down to N.O. after work Friday. Saturday ran around in the rain all day with realtors trying to find something cool to rent. This place went to the top of the list so hopefully (fingers crossed) we can snag it. Price wasn't too bad, recently renovated, single dwelling shotgun house, fenced in front and back yard. About three blocks from C & B's. About two blocks from Maple St. which means a short walk to a few cool restaurants and watering holes. So yeah I think we can make it work. After we did all that, Chris Y. got off work and we went to chow down at Frankie & Johnny's If you ever go there order the bell pepper rings. Damn good. Then we went to St. Joe's and tossed back a few with Boy. Back to their house to meet Brandy after she got off. Just stayed there and killed some wine and ran our mouths as usual. Fun times. Fast weekend.
UPDATE:
So we'll be sending our deposits off today so they will hold the house for us. We got it. Will get keys so we can start moving in April 1st. Very appropriate date for a couple of foolios. Chris Y., go start picking up pecans. Brandy... start mixing up the poison peanut butter for that mangy pitbull.

Yeah at first I wasn't all about it because the house on one side is sort of cracky looking... but after we rode by a few more times and I realized that the hood was actually pretty cool it grew on me real quick. Needs some yard work and stuff, but we like doing that sort of thing so it's all good. Christie never batted an eye. She dug it right away.

@Kreg... hahaha... thanks. Let me tell you, I wish I could take some credit for that photo, but simply a fast iPhone shot through a wet car window. Man we got so wet running around looking at all those places Saturday. Made for a funky feeling day. Hate getting rained on.
What luck!! Looks like a great place and location. So excited for you both. Any job prospects for you yet? Court is ready to visit and get to know you guys better! right away... April 1st is our "anniversary" so to speak, a good day for all of us fools it seems...peace!
@ Kat... no job yet. I get real worried about it one day and then don't give a fuck the next... basically something will shake out. I can always wash dishes somewhere I guess. Hell yeah once we get sorted out you'll have to come check it out. You girls have a good week.
