When Michael Phelps came on the scene it bugged me that he looked awfully familiar. I quickly put it out of my mind and never thought about it again. Well today I saw someone mention Phelps on Twitter and it immediately struck me. He looks like 7' 6" tall actor Matthew McGrory. You remember him from Tim Burton's "Big Fish", Manson's "Coma White" video, etc.
While I was looking for photos of both men to compare side by side, I ran across this, CLICK HERE. So I'm not the first person to make the connection.
Please understand that I am not making fun of either Phelps or Mr. McGrory, who passed away in 2005 at the young age of 32. Just doing my own version of "Separated at Birth."
