Big Move, Big Easy

Chris headed down to New Orleans Tuesday. That was her last day at Porter Properties and I think she was basically walking on air. Anyway she packed her little car to the hilt and zoomed down to put down first months rent, pick up keys, be there to meet cable guy, etc., etc. Basically get the house rolling. She said that the people that we are renting from are a retired couple, with a lot of properties throughout the city and they were more than nice and chatted with her for quite a while. Always nice to like the people you are doing business with, especially when it comes to housing. I've rented from some real D'bags over the years and it can get a little weird. Anyway she'll head back East today sometime and we'll pick up a small truck on Friday and get it loaded up for a return trip Saturday morning. I'm hoping that we can get a whole lot of stuff down there this weekend. End of the month we'll do a final truck and take all of the real large furniture. I have an interview with an agency Monday... if that would pan out I could breathe a little easier... oh well we'll see.
