R.I.P. Jim Carroll



If you don't know who he is you should dig up some of his music... because he was a punk pioneer and poet to boot. The movie, "Basketball Diaries" was based on his memoirs.

Not too familiar with him. I did see Basketball Diaries and thoroughly enjoyed it. I will check out more stuff.

His stuff is classic NYC spoken word/punk... Iwas just listening to him the other night... it still holds up pretty damn good.
