Orangutan Strangling a Borneo Savage [1895] Emmanuel Fremiet

I ran across this on "Dinosaurs and Robots". Years and years.... and years ago... I saw a relief sculpture that was almost exactly like this one. Except the ape was a chimp and the man was hanging straight back. I am almost 100% certain it was the same artist. Had to be. I think the price on the piece was five grand or something. I really liked it. Found it in an antique store on Royal St. Over the years we went back to the same store and that piece was still there... probably for 5 years. Don't think that shoppe is there any longer. Anyway pretty cool stuff.
